General practice is the foundation of everything we do at Griffin Medical Centre. Our GPs look after the whole family, from newborn checks through to aged care, and we aim to be the practice you keep coming back to rather than a clinic you use once. Seeing the same doctor over time means your history, your medications and your preferences are already known, which almost always leads to faster, safer decisions.

A standard consultation covers a single problem in detail. If you have several things to discuss, or you want a longer conversation about something complex, please ask reception for a long appointment when you book so we can give you the time you need without running late for other patients.

What we look after

Our GPs manage acute illness and injury, review long-term conditions, arrange investigations and coordinate the specialist and allied health care that sits around you.

• Coughs, colds, infections, fevers and other short-term illness
• Injuries, wound care, suturing and minor in-clinic procedures
• Repeat prescriptions and medication reviews
• Referrals to specialists, imaging and allied health
• Pathology requests with results reviewed by your own GP
• Preventive health checks and screening reminders
• Iron infusions and 24-hour Holter monitoring
• Telehealth for eligible patients with an existing relationship with the practice

Bulk billing and appointments

Griffin Medical Centre bulk bills patients with a valid Medicare card for standard GP consultations. Some procedures and non-Medicare services attract a fee, and reception will always tell you before your appointment so there are no surprises. Our full fee list is on the fees and billing page.

We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, at 228 Brays Road, Griffin. On-site parking is free and the clinic has full disability access. Book online any time, or call 07 3465 0660 and speak with our reception team.
