Children's Health in Griffin
Care for newborns through to teenagers, from immunisations and development checks to illness and referrals.

Familiar faces for growing families
Children do not always explain what is wrong, and parents are usually the ones who notice something is off. Our GPs take that seriously. We look after babies from their first weeks, through the immunisation schedule, the preschool years and into adolescence, and we would rather see a child early than have a family wait and worry over the weekend.
If your child is unwell and you cannot find an appointment online, call reception. We keep space for sick children wherever we can.
What we look after
Most childhood concerns are managed completely at the clinic, with referral to a paediatrician when specialist input is needed.
- Childhood immunisations under the National Immunisation Program
- Newborn, six-week and ongoing growth and development checks
- Fevers, ear and throat infections, gastro and respiratory illness
- Asthma diagnosis, action plans and review
- Eczema, rashes and other skin conditions
- Feeding, sleep, toileting and behavioural concerns
- School, childcare and sports medical certificates
- Referrals to paediatricians, speech pathology and occupational therapy
Development and the years that matter most
Early childhood is when speech, hearing, motor skills and social development can be supported most effectively. If you have a nagging sense that something is not tracking the way it should, bring it up. A development check is a straightforward appointment and early referral genuinely changes outcomes.
Teenagers are welcome to be seen on their own if they prefer, and our GPs will explain what is and is not confidential so they know where they stand.
