Immunisations and Vaccinations in Griffin
National Immunisation Program vaccines, flu, shingles, HPV, travel vaccines and catch-up schedules.

Protection for every age
Vaccination is the most effective preventive medicine we have. The National Immunisation Program covers children, adolescents, older adults, pregnant women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at no cost, and our nurses deliver those vaccines here at the clinic with your record reported straight to the Australian Immunisation Register.
If you or your child have fallen behind, that is easily fixed. Catch-up schedules exist for every age and there is no penalty for being late.
Vaccines available
We hold the standard program vaccines and can order others on request.
- Childhood immunisations at six weeks, four months, six months, twelve months, eighteen months and four years
- Adolescent school program catch-ups, including HPV and boosters
- Annual influenza vaccination, free for eligible groups
- Shingles (herpes zoster) vaccination
- Pneumococcal vaccination for older adults and at-risk patients
- Whooping cough boosters for pregnant women, parents and grandparents
- COVID-19 boosters, subject to availability
- Travel vaccinations including hepatitis A and B, typhoid and Japanese encephalitis
Booking and after your vaccination
Book a nurse appointment for routine immunisations, or add it to a GP visit you already have. Bring your Medicare card and, for children, the blue book if you have it.
We ask everyone to wait fifteen minutes afterwards. A sore arm, mild fever or tiredness for a day or two is normal and expected. Anything that worries you, call us on 07 3465 0660.
